The Days and Nights Festival is proud to present enigmatic composer and choreographer John Moran for a series of new theatre:
The Days and Nights festival is proud to present two weekend matinees of their acclaimed John Moran…and his neighbor, Saori. Described by the New York Times as "one of the most important and innovative works of dance in New York City," John + Saori will make its West Coast premiere at the Festival.
We are also very excited to present John Moran and Saori Tsukada’s latest work, John + Saori (…in Thailand), which has been described as "an absolute joy."
The Days and Nights Festival will also host An Evening of Poetry. Hosted by the historic Henry Miller Library in Big Sur, CA, our poetry night will feature some of California’s preeminent poets reading their poems on an outdoor theatre. These readings will be accompanied by live performances by Philip Glass and members of the YOA: Orchestra of the Americas.
